About the role
Job Description:
The Apprentice Engineer will design, build, install and service mechanical machinery, components and tools across a range of industries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions to mechanical engineering problems
- Check design and modification calculations and drawings
- Produce clear and detailed reports for submission to team leads
- Liaise with senior engineers on both technical and general business requirements where appropriate
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with safety requirements, quality requirements and code specifications
- Perform special tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or master’s in mechanical engineering with 0-1 years of practical experience
- Operating skill in Autocad
- Must be able to work cross functionally with team members at all levels across multiple departments involved in different projects
- Excellent written and communication skills in English
