Assistant Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Account payable management, including:
  • Invoice Processing: Review and verify vendor invoices, match with purchase orders or receiving documents, and properly code them to general ledger accounts.
  • Payment Execution: Arrange disbursements according to payment schedule.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors, answer payment inquiries, and resolve discrepancies in statements and balance.
• Accountant receivable management, including:
  • Billing & Invoicing: Prepare invoices and send to clients.
  • Collection and Cash Application: Post incoming payments and accurately apply them to the correct customer accounts.
• Prepare company level financial statements, perform month-end closing including journal entry postings, provisions and accruals etc.
• Prepare period-end schedules and bank reconciliation

Job Requirement:

• Higher Diploma in accounting or above
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in construction company
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork, eagerness to learn and improve
• Able to work independently, under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
• Knowledge and good command of Yonyou is an advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Accountant
• Immediately available is preferred
