About the role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stacks boxes of product properly on pallets per pattern specifications.
- Read daily production schedule and print schedule from computer system.
- Properly identify pallets with a pallet tag before moving pallet to freezer conveyor system or to staging area for shipping.
- Keep an accurate inventory of finished product and verify reports at end of shift.
- Operate a computer system to produce pallet tags.
- Load pallets of product into freezer conveyor system or to staging area for shipping utilizing a pallet jack.
- Keep assigned areas clean, and keep a proper supply of wooden pallets.
- Verify box information is correct and check against schedule and specifications.
- Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
- Regular and dependable and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
