Cafe Team Leader/Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Supervisor to join the team at London Transport Museum.

Benugo is the in-house caterers, we operate two cafes, all grab and go options, hot/cold beverages.

We Offer:

Rate: £15.30 per hour.

Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends.

Contract: Full Time/ Permanent.

About the Cafe Supervisor role:

• To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are always of highest standard
• To supervise, manage and motivate the team
• To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
• Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained

The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Outstanding communication, team management and guest service skills.

• Prior food and beverage service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Barista.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, cash register, marie chef.
