Customer Service Representative

Job Purpose

Responsible for assisting internal and external customers with questions on products, technical data/specs, and assisting architects on current systems and products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily communication with customers via email, telephone, face to face, and fax to ensure task are being carried out in a courteous and timely manner

• Communicates with other departments to resolve any issues with orders
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints
• Set up new accounts and pricing for Crystal and Turf Outlet
• Assist coworkers in resolving work issues such as: setting products up under correct selling codes, the maintenance of rolls, CAMS questions, etc.
• Responsible for working open orders, to ensure all orders ship in a timely manner
• Complete credit card form and turn into the correct person to approve
• Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge
• Negotiate freight rates and request expedited quotes from truck lines

• Requisitions or purchases supplies from vendors

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Degree: HS diploma/GED
• Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service
• Courses/Certifications/Training: AS400 experience required
