About the role

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world’s best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch career-focused & character-based education. Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive. The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.

MHS is seeking a dynamic Elementary School Teacher to prepare and deliver high quality and engaging lessons and assessments, differentiate instruction, and use data to analyze outcomes and drive student achievement. MHS teachers collaboratively refine and adapt curriculum to meet students’ emerging needs and support their success despite any prior adverse experiences. MHS faculty maintain high expectations while taking a whole-child approach with their students. MHS faculty are also expected to schedule and complete additional duties as part of their teaching responsibilities.

In addition to an excellent salary & benefits package, MHS teachers are provided with well-resourced classrooms, state-of-the-art technology, small class sizes, planning periods, and extensive professional development to ensure positive outcomes.
