Fire Service Technician
DiVal Safety Equipment – Albany, NY
Full-time, 7am – 3:30pm
Pay Range: $23 - $28
Join DiVal Safety Equipment and be part of a team that values hard work, commitment, positivity, accountability, and prioritizes safety on the job. As a Fire Service Technician, you’ll travel to customer locations and help maintain essential safety equipment. You do not need previous fire-service experience to get started. We provide training.
What You’ll Do –
- Inspect and service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, eyewash stations, and AEDs
- Replenish first-aid kits and PPE vending machines
- Provide professional, high-quality service at customer locations
- Manage your daily schedule in coordination with supervisors and teammates
- Arrive at customer locations on time and ready to provide excellent service
- Complete service paperwork accurately and on time
- Communicate customer needs or service issues with your team
- Keep your company vehicle clean and service-ready
- Follow established safety procedures and report potential safety concerns
- Assist with additional service needs as needed
What You’ll Bring –
- A dependable, self-motivated approach to your work
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently while still being part of a team
- Ability to be on your feet for much of the workday and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel based on workload
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a drug screen and physical
