Infrastructure and cloud engineering are the primary focus, with embedded responsibilities for automation, system documentation, and technical security-control implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer, administer, troubleshoot, and improve Azure Government/GCC High infrastructure and services.

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.

  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows/Linux systems and corporate network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and related services.

  • Administer identity and access management, including security groups, MFA, Conditional Access, and role-based access.

  • Maintain accurate system documentation, including diagrams, inventories, configurations, data flows, build procedures, change records, and operating procedures.

  • Implement and document technical security controls, system hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, logging, and monitoring.

  • Assist the IT Manager/ISSM with technical documentation and evidence supporting CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, ISO, and DCSA requirements.

  • Serve as an escalation point for technical issues and provide knowledge transfer across the corporate IT team.

  • Work with technology partners while maintaining AnaVation's internal technical knowledge and ownership.

Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of IT, systems administration, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or related experience.

    • Experience administering Windows systems, Entra ID identity, and Intune-managed endpoints.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.

    • Working knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.

    • Experience with system patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and technical documentation.

    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to independently learn new technologies and progress from guided implementation to technical ownership.

    • Ability to meet applicable U.S. Government and customer security requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

    • Azure Government/GCC High experience.

    • Experience with PowerShell cloud administration.

    • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST, RMF, STIGs, ISO, DCSA, or similar regulated-environment requirements.

    • Interest in developing toward a Deputy ISSM / system security support role.

    • Microsoft Azure/M365, Security+, or comparable technical certifications.

    • Experience supporting DoD, federal, or other regulated environments.

    • Active U.S. Government security clearance.
