This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer, Senior based in Brazil.

Overview

Join a technology-driven environment where cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability are essential to delivering innovative digital solutions. As a Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer, you will help design, operate, and govern secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments. You will work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to implement infrastructure standards, streamline deployment processes, and strengthen platform security. Your expertise will contribute to modern cloud foundations, efficient CI/CD pipelines, and reliable application lifecycle management. You will leverage technologies such as Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to improve operational efficiency and consistency. This role offers the opportunity to influence infrastructure practices, promote automation, and support the delivery of high-impact technology solutions in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities

    • Execute and govern cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment standards established by Solution Architecture.

    • Operate, maintain, and manage cloud foundations and environments across Azure and/or AWS platforms.

    • Ensure platform security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance with established security policies and organizational standards.

    • Implement and maintain platform-level observability through monitoring, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and proactive incident detection.

    • Enable standardized CI/CD pipelines and release processes to improve deployment consistency, reliability, and efficiency.

    • Manage application lifecycles and environments, ensuring controlled releases and appropriate configuration management.

    • Support platform reliability, scalability, availability, and performance through continuous monitoring and infrastructure optimization.

    • Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.

    • Manage and support cloud services and components, including Kubernetes, Docker, virtual networks, firewalls, API gateways, databases, and blob storage.

    • Apply best practices for version control, infrastructure automation, security, and operational governance.

    • Collaborate with architecture, development, security, and operations teams to identify risks, resolve infrastructure challenges, and continuously improve platform standards.

    • Contribute to cloud cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives, applying FinOps principles where appropriate.

      • Requirements

      • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

      • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, including Kubernetes (particularly AKS), Docker, virtual networks (VNet), firewalls, API gateways, databases, and blob storage.

      • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps.

      • Understanding of deployment strategies, release management, and application lifecycle governance.

      • Knowledge of security and IAM principles, including identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.

      • Experience with Git and version control practices.

      • Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions, including metrics, alerting, dashboards, and platform health monitoring.

      • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.

      • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues while maintaining a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
