Reporting directly to the International Tax Operations Manager, this position sits at the center of our ASC 740 quarterly tax provision calculations and annual U.S. international tax compliance filings.

In this role, you will lead complex tax modeling and act as the primary technical reviewer for U.S. international tax work product prepared by our foreign Shared Service Center (BSC) in Hungary. This is an ideal next step for a Big 4 Senior/Manager or Senior Corporate Tax Analyst seeking a high-visibility leadership track within an industrial enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Review: Lead and review U.S. international tax returns and foreign entity disclosures (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993).

  • Offshore Leadership: Serve as the daily technical reviewer, mentor, and main liaison for International Tax Seniors in our European Shared Service Center.

  • Attribute & E&P Tracking: Monitor foreign distribution impacts, untaxed/PTI E&P, tax basis, 163(j) limitations, and FIN 48 / Uncertain Tax Positions.

  • Planning & Legislation: Conduct research and modeling for M&A activities and major legislative updates, including the TCJA (2017) and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (2025).

  • Finance Transformation: Utilize Excel, CorpTax, SAP, and automation tools (Alteryx/AI) to optimize tax workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education/Credential: Bachelor’s in Accounting PLUS a CPA or Master’s in Taxation (MST).

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of direct U.S. International Tax experience in Big 4 public accounting or a large multinational corporation.

  • Technical Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience calculating or reviewing ASC 740 international provisions and IRS foreign compliance forms.

  • Systems: Strong proficiency in Excel and CorpTax; familiarity with SAP ERP / SAP BPC is preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented reviewer with proactive, transparent communication habits across time zones.
