Licence Management Expert

The essence of the position:

Continuation of management of licences with cost center and system owner point of view inside MOL IT & Digital GBS according to the strategic goal of MOL IT & Digital GBS, supporting the continuous and uninterrupted work of users for the purpose cost-efficient and optimal utilization of equipment.

Main responsibilities:

• Controlling, designing and tracking the amount, state and cost of software licences

• Responsible for the annual software tracking projects

• Reporting about the licence situation periodically

• Responsible for the knowledge of quantity and quality parameters, capacity, properties, licences and direction of development for company softwares, thus providing efficient management and legal compliance with current internal and external regulations

• Responsible for the operation and development of the software equipment management system

• Operates the reporting system

• Documenting the implemented changes

• Responsible for forming the lincence management policy of the Company and keeping it up-to-date with taking the relevant financial and IT control points into account

• Initiating the introduction of new and more efficient equipment and processes with this, contributing to achieve organizational goals.

• Supervising and controlling licence management for projects

• Receiving, handling and deciding on the approval of sofware demands, related to the employee’s field of expertise, furthermore, the employee makes propositions for the improvement of request/approval processes.

• Defines licence management related regular and ad hoc tasks via the ticketing system for the operators of affected IT systems Tracking the execution of tasks.

• If needed, organizing consultations, supervising the quality of the solutions of tasks.

Main requirements:

• University or College degree

• 1-3+ years relevant experience

• Service oriented approach, software equipment management, deep knowledge of monitoring and configuration management systems, risk analysis ability, cost management attitude (CAPEX-OPEX).

• Thorough knowledge of lincensing for Microsoft’s, IBM’s, Oracle’s, VMWare’s, SAP’s and other server, client, developer and database manager software manufacturer’s. Knowledge of infrastructure and application architectures used in MOL.

• English is at stable written and spoken level.
