Maintenance A

Performs various machine repair, installation, and maintenance functions on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic factory equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Required to make repairs and performs preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as motors, production machines, engines, hydraulics and pneumatic equipment. Use testing equipment and necessary hand and power tools.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Follow proper procedures for lockout. Wear required protective equipment.
• Wire electrical circuits and controls, and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Requisition needed parts and supplies from supervisor necessary to carry out repairs.
• Snow removal when needed.
• Must be able to work overtime, mornings and nights, as needed.
• Self starter with the motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner while prioritizing safety.

Education:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
