As part of the Maintenance team, you are an integral member supporting the safe and continuous operation of the site. You will be considered capable and with qualification to install, repair and make good items in planned and unplanned maintenance, working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Consistent with Maintenance Department Classification Guideline;
Responsible for the maintenance of mine equipment and facilities to ensure their maximum contribution to the safety, quality, and productivity of the operation;
Assembles, adjusts set-up, lubricates, and maintains/ repairs all types of mining equipment;
Reads and interprets blueprints while carefully following manufacturers instructions;
Carries out working orders related to the preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance plan of the operation;
Equipment removal, installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair;
Ensures that the work areas, equipment, and work practices comply with the regulatory codes, statutes, and company requirements;
Liaises effectively with colleagues and managers regarding various work situations and the activities within the department;
Integrate environmental consideration into daily activities/tasks/etc throughout all areas and phases of our operations: conduct business in such a manner to prevent and mitigate negative environmental impacts;
All other duties as assigned.
