key Responsibilities
- Receive and process material requisitions.
- Pick, pack, and issue stock according to approved requests.
- Verify quantities and item codes before issuing stock.
- Capture stock transactions accurately on the inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Assist with stock counts and cycle counts.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Stores Controller.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety standards.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
- Support receiving and put-away activities when required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Certificate in Stores, Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
- Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, email).
