The RTM & NA Inbound Network Design and Cost Analyst (Efficiencies, MCC, Warehousing, New Model, MFE, PF) role presents an exciting opportunity to take on a role in a critical area in our current Supply Chain climate. Apply your MP&L and Supply Chain knowledge to drive Cost and Efficiency to our Transportation Network.
What you'll do...
Implement freight efficiencies to achieve the assigned plants calendarized and annualized targets.
Develop logistics commodity strategies with Transportation Purchasing Organization.
Develop equipment & routing specs for Request for Quote with Transportation Purchasing.
Publish supplier shipping instructions, daily change management; including responding to operating plan changes.
Support TPO in helping carriers react to changes at least cost
Manage inbound freight cost by identifying and implementing improvements and tracking physicals.
Identify cost savings through sourcing changes and density changes.
Cube Utilization metrics, Planned to Actual metrics
Audit and dispute logistics provider billing discrepancies.
Review & Approve TONU, Approve Plant Requested pull-aheads, etc…
