Shipping Coordinator Evening Shift (57950)

Premium Guard, Inc. is a privately held company, established in 1996. We are a leading supplier of private label solutions in the automotive aftermarket. Our focus is on designing, manufacturing and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports and specialty filter markets. Our supply chain network encompasses now branches across the Pacific and into South America.

This Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of all outgoing shipments (LTL) in accordance with company operational and quality procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Shipping all customer orders by the required ship date

• Confirming all product orders meet customer requirements

• Scheduling all shipments via specified truck carriers

• Research and utilize most economical delivery options

• Generate applicable packing/shipping documents

• Audit shipment quantity for accuracy

• Confirm delivery of shipments with customer

• Resolve any lost or mis-directed shipments via carrier and customer

• Maintain proper storage of shipping documents

• Maintaining warehouse supplies related to shipping function in an organized manner

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED or one to two years’ experience in warehouse distribution.

• Be able to speak, write and understand English.

• Experience in MS Excel and MS Word required

• Attention to detail with alpha and numerical data

• Knowledge of key corporate business systems required
• EVENING SHIFT, 3:30PM-12AM, OVERTIME AVAILABLE.
