Software Engineer II

Job Description

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.
• Build modern user interfaces, APIs, and database components.
• You will need to write clean, secure, maintainable code and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
• You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams to deliver business outcomes.
• You will leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

What We're Looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least three years of software engineering experience, including full-stack application development.

• Experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.

• Experience developing Java back-end solutions, including RESTful APIs, ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA, and non-relational databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB or DynamoDB.

• Experience with modern software delivery practices and tools, including Agile methodologies, test automation, CI/CD and DevOps practices; source control and development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven and Jenkins; and code deployment in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environments.
