Software QA Engineer (Web & API Testing) - Senior | TS/SCI w/ Poly

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. U.S. citizenship required.

Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA (Full-Time).

Mission software only works if it's tested like it matters. You'll own quality for web applications and API-driven systems that support a federal national-security mission, building automated coverage that lets the team ship with confidence.

What you'll do

- Test web applications end to end for functionality, performance and usability

- Validate REST API endpoints behind API gateways using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI

- Build and maintain automated test suites in Cypress (or similar) and wire them into CI/CD

- Run regression, integration and system testing across environments

- Write clear defect reports and work with developers and product owners in Agile sprints

What you bring (required)

- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

- 3+ years in software testing or QA

- Hands-on testing of web applications and RESTful APIs (HTTP, JSON, API authentication)

- Test automation with Cypress or an equivalent framework

- Scripting in JavaScript (Python or Java also fine)

- Experience on Agile/Scrum teams

Nice to have

- Testing distributed systems or API gateways

- Selenium, Jenkins or other CI/CD tooling

- Git

- Performance or load testing tools

- AWS or Azure
