Position	:	Systems Manager (Technical Management)

Pay	:	HK$87,027 to HK$143,298 (HMPS Point 7 to 19) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Systems Manager (Technical Management), the incumbent is responsible for leading a team in supporting technical infrastructure with the following key responsibilities and foci:

1. Technical design, implementation, systems upgrade, systems monitoring and 7x24 support on enterprise infrastructure management, system monitoring and log analytics platform, and related IT infrastructure services.

2. Manage the whole life cycle of infrastructure projects including technical architecture design, user requirement analysis, technical solution, budgeting, scheduling, implementation and reporting.

3. Analyze short- and long-term business requirements and work with other IT teams to formulate enterprise technical architecture and technology roadmap.

4. Undertake capacity planning and manage technology refresh program.

5. Ensure data availability, integrity and security through robust safeguards and efficient data management practices.

6. Monitor and manage vendors’ performance and their compliance with the terms of contract and service level agreement.

7. Assist senior management in strategic planning, finance and human resources management.

8. Recommend innovations and lead related proof of concept activities.

Entry Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.

2. Over 10 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.
   

Preferable Attributes/Exposure

1. At least 7 years’ experience in the design, implementation and technical management of large-scale IT infrastructure projects, in which 3 years in a team leading role.

2. Extensive experience in infrastructure resources planning, high availability design and implementation.

3. Solid experience in managing enterprise-scale systems, log analytics technical platform and related IT infrastructure services.

4. Comprehensive knowledge in automation of IT infrastructure services and best practices.

5. Good knowledge in project management and tendering process.

6. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

7. Innovative, open-minded and be able to work under pressure.
