About the role
Shifts vary as needed. 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday
Performs all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level with minimal supervision. Assists the Manager with the daily operations of the vascular lab. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of competence under the supervision of the Operations Manager for Noninvasive. Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Coordinates work schedule with manager to ensure workload coverage. Consults with referring physician, patient chart, and/or manager regarding patient’s history to determine appropriate lab procedure when necessary. Performs all other duties as assigned by the manager.
Special Qualifications
· Vascular and/or echocardiology registry eligible through accredited cardiovascular program.
· Allied Health Professional with AS degree or BS Degree in Health Related field with minimum of 2 years experience.
· Registry in vascular technology ultrasound within 1 year of hire. (RVT)
