About the role
Description
The Order Selector is responsible for accurately, safely, and efficiently preparing orders for shipment to customers through order picking processes.
Essential Duties
- Pick finished product from storage racks for customer orders accurately, efficiently, and with proper caution for product quality and condition.
- Prepares order for shipment by palletizing and wrapping or boxing product, printing and attaching labels, placing packing slip and prebills, and other documentation when needed.
- Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk to personnel and damage to inventory or equipment.
- Performs accurate and timely inventory and/or product transactions to reflect material movement using computer or RF device.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Pay:
$19/hr
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:30pm
Requirements
- 1+ year Forklift experience required.
- Order Selecting experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and utilize hand scanners (RF guns).
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
