Compliance Specialist

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a lawyer to join our Slovnaft Compliance team. You will be working closely with MOL Group Compliance colleagues.
Compliance organization is dedicated to supporting MOL Group by reviewing (from a legal point of view) the operation, activity, and processes of business and functional units across the Group

• identify compliance risks in the areas of Competition law, Personal data protection (GDPR), Consumer protection, International sanctions, Anti-money laundering, and

• provide recommendations to the investigated unit to mitigate the identified risks to avoid negative business, legal, financial or reputational consequences.

• In fulfilling its preventive role, Compliance promotes compliance culture by preparation and execution of awareness raising trainings/simulations.

Your main task:
Execute the Compliance plan by:

• performing compliance investigations, drafting compliance reports/providing recommendations, in English;

• improving compliance culture by holding awareness raising trainings.

• providing risk assessment consultation to stakeholders, other compliance-related tasks as may be required.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Slovak University degree in Law (LL.M. from a reputable university is an advantage)

• Relevant experience in Legal/Compliance field, mainly in competition law

• Law firm experience (Bar exam is an advantage)

• Professional command of Legal English (legal drafting/presentation)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills

• Personal Integrity

• Internal investigation experience is an advantage

• Resilience, willingness to gain experience in new fields of law

Salary: from 2700 EUR brutto/month. The advertised salary represents the minimum guaranteed base salary for this position. The final offer will be determined individually, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
