Tool Room Attendant

Description

The main responsibility of a parts puller is to retrieve specific parts or materials from storage areas and prepare them for use in production or distribution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receiving orders from supervisors or computer systems for specific parts or materials needed for production or distribution.
• Locating the requested items in storage areas and verifying their accuracy and condition.
• Retrieving the items and moving them to the appropriate production or distribution area.
• Keeping records of materials pulled and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving, packing, or shipping.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and inventory records.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in pulling and verifying parts and materials.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move items for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift min 50 pounds.
